01
App privacy
The App Archiver macOS application does not collect personal data, usage data, analytics, or advertising information. It does not track you, require an account, or send your files anywhere.
The app only uses information already on your Mac to show storage use, remember your settings, and perform the actions you choose.
02
Files and folders
App Archiver uses the apps, folders, and backup locations you select to show space use, optimize, archive, back up, and restore your apps. Everything happens on your Mac.
App Archiver remembers the folders you allow so you do not have to select them every time. You can remove a custom location from Settings without deleting the backup files stored there.
03
Website analytics
This website uses Plausible Analytics to understand aggregate traffic such as page views and referral sources. Plausible does not use cookies or persistent identifiers, does not build personal profiles, and does not track visitors across websites or devices.
The website does not use advertising trackers. The hosting provider may process standard connection and security data needed to deliver and protect the site.
04
Support email
If you email support, the message and information you choose to include are received through the email providers used by you and App Archiver. That information is used to answer your request, investigate the issue you reported, and maintain the related support conversation.
Do not send an app, backup, password, or other sensitive file unless support asks for it.
05
External links
This website links to the Mac App Store and to other websites by Ighor July. When you follow an external link, the destination service receives the connection and applies its own privacy policy. The App Archiver app does not need those sites to work.
06
Changes and contact
This policy may be updated when the app, website, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the latest version.
